AHOY SAILOR! WHAT'S YOUR STORY? ALIAS: Hales AGE GROUP:(18-25) HOW DID YOU FIND US? Via Admin
EASY ON THE GOODS LOVE GIVE US SOME PERSONALITY CHARACTER FULL NAME Captain Jack Sparrow CHARACTER AGE Thirty-Two CHARACTER AFFILIATION Pirates BRANDED? Yes
Jack Sparrow is probably the most complex person you will ever meet. He is manipulative, charming, sleazy, but an actual decent human being. Not to mention one of the best pirates you will ever come across. There is no one in the world quite like Captain Jack Sparrow and it's probably a good reason too, since the world probably couldn't handle another guy like Jack. His manipulations can get out of control sometimes, and no one is ever safe from them. Actually, every single person that has come across Jack has probably fallen victim to his manipulations one time or another.
He is high strung and a ferocious competitor. He has a way of twisting up ideas and plans and calculating the exact formulas to basically make anyone do what they want him to do, while actually simultaneously making them believe that's actually what they want for themselves. He is fierce in his beliefs though, and that actually helps him in the manipulation part, since anyone he's trying to persuade is most likely going to believe in what he's saying because even though Jack may not have any feeling towards the matter, he sure makes it seem like he does.
Jack is also incredibly intelligent. It's the only way his plans could work so well. Jack formulates and creates plans so air tight that they just couldn't NOT work. He does, unfortunately, have the horrible habit of actually making people believe he isn't smart, and he doesn't know what he's doing just for the simple fact that it's another manipulation tactic. To get others to believe that he is dumb, he can have the upper hand. To over power them and ultimately mold and create them into some sort of off the wall plan that he actually has set forth in motion for them.
Though this personality trait is probably pretty evading and buried deep within his black heart, Jack is actually a good person. Yes, he is selfish and needy, but he has been known on more than one account to actually help somebody in need simply to help them, or because it was the right thing to do. In all honesty, if he didn't actually enjoy being the hero, he wouldn't do it. That's just how Jack is wired. There is a certain part of him who actually enjoys playing the part of vindicated pirate hero.
OR SMITHY IF YOU'D LIKE LETS GET PHYSICAL
Jack has a lot of little aspects to his appearance, from the dirty rot color of his hair, right down to his faded out suede boots. Jack actually dresses rather extravagantly, and his hair and body actually match that. Jack has a lot of tattoos, including a sparrow on his forearm and quite a few on his chest. He also happens to have a rather rough burn mark in the large shape of a P thanks to Lord Cutler Beckett from one of their many brushing's of shoulders. Jack has a lot of tassels, odd things jumbled up in his hair, including beads, shillings, a sharks tooth, jewels, and even a real fish bone. He ties up his hefty and heavily matted hair with a bandanna to keep it out of his face, and more times than not, he has it all hidden underneath a three cornered leather Captain's hat.
Jack's facial features are strong, with a carved jaw and high cheek bones, he has dark eyes and hair with a long prominent nose that isn't very wide. His skin is the color of light mocha, because of all his time in the sun, it has a constant bronze to it. Facial hair riddles his chin and jaw line, and a heavy mustache curves just right along his lips. His side burns aren't too long, but instead tend to fit him. He also happens to have two braids on the underside of his chin that is tied off in colorful beads. Jack has a forever open sore on his lower jaw line, and a few other scars along his face. He adorns his eyes with eyeliner and his eyebrows are pretty well trained for a males.
Jack usually only wears one set of clothes, though it is quite heavy layers. Starting with rough gray down pants with brown suede overturn boots that helps the sand stay out of his shoes. He wraps a hefty bandanna around his torso while he covers it up with a white shirt with a slit where his chest is. The shirt is long sleeves and billows out around his forearms. Next he pairs a dark blue and gray vest over it, and then a belt where he keeps all of his affects on top of that. Then comes another bandanna or two and sometimes he even loves to place on his blue sailing jacket that falls all the way down to the back of his knees in a rather expensive looking coat tail effect.
Jack also happens to walk with a gait about him. A consequence of always being on a ship, or on unsteady ground. Though it sometimes looks like he is walking proudly, or otherwise drunk [which he most often is that as well], he wobbles on his feet a bit when at port, choosing to walk on the most stable part of his foot in case he falls, which is a tactic only a well trained sea Pirate learns. He also walks or runs with his hands out in front of him, probably just another tactic to make sure he keeps himself as upright as he can.
